Tsunami

Suddenly I really wanted to write about the Tsunami. Remember the tsunami in Aceh, right? The impact was so great. Actually what is tsunami? Tsunami is taken from the Japanese, the country's frequent earthquakes. Tsu means harbor, nami means wave. Because of the massive earthquake that occurred on June 15, 1896 and caused a large wave struck the port city of Sanriku (Japan), damage to beaches along 280 km east Honsu, killing 22,000 people. So the name of the tsunami became an international name to mention large waves as a result of the earthquake.

So if I may briefly, the tsunami is a wave of sea water by an earthquake, which has a speed of several hundred kilometers per hour, reaching 30 meters high, and reach of the waves on land ranging between 50-200 meters from the coastline. Well this is not to summarize it ...??

The signs of the coming tsunami in coastal areas are:
  •      Sea water receded abruptly.
  •      Salty smell was terrible.
  •      From a distance appear white waves and a very loud rumbling sound.

Tsunamis occur when:
  •      Earthquake major earthquake with a strength of> 6.3 SR
  •      The location of the epicenter in the sea
  •      Shallow depth <40 km

I imagine more videos about the arrival of floodwaters to the mainland in Aceh before, the hair stand on end, horrible. My God, You are sovereign over this natural.
